Completion of M/s PCFC HQ & Multi-Story Car Park – New Eco-Friendly Headquarters at Mina Rashid.

December 20, 2024 — Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, recently inaugurated the organization's new headquarters in Dubai Maritime City. The facility is constructed to meet LEED Gold certification standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council, emphasizing sustainability and eco-efficiency. The new building is designed to optimize indoor environmental quality, significantly reduce water consumption, and boost energy efficiency. It can accommodate over 1,500 employees and is equipped to serve more than 300 customers and visitors daily. The headquarters includes a separate parking facility with a capacity for over 700 vehicles. The inauguration was attended by key figures including Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of the corporation; Dr. Abdullah Busnad, Director General of Dubai Customs; Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World for the GCC Region; and Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, alongside board members and strategic partners.

Sultan bin Sulayem highlighted the historical significance and modern capabilities of the new headquarters, stating, "This headquarters is a model of innovation and sustainability, designed to achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental quality. It provides an ideal working environment that perfectly balances comfort with efficiency in service delivery." Nasser Al Neyadi noted that the opening of the new headquarters is not only a significant addition to the corporation's assets but also a launchpad for future achievements that will bolster its position both locally and globally. He praised the dedication that led to the completion of this project on schedule, underscoring its role in supporting the corporation’s vision for digital transformation and institutional excellence.
