Job Functions
  • Carry out detailed snagging inspections for architectural works.
  • Monitor and control finishing works (interiors & exteriors) to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to close snags efficiently.
  • Review materials, mock-ups, and workmanship quality.
  • Support final inspections, testing, and handover documentation.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • Proven experience in finishing works and snagging on construction projects.
  • Strong eye for detail and QA/QC.

Lead Civil Estimation Engineer

We are a diversified Main Contractor hiring Lead Civil Estimation Engineer.

Job Functions
  • Studying the tender documents to gather essential project insights, supporting management in making an informed participation decision.
  • Quantification and BOQ preparation by undertaking detailed analysis of tender documents to produce accurate quantities and prepare clarification requests to address any ambiguities or contradictions.
  • Developing and maintaining a procurement plan that defines the procurement strategy, lists subcontractors for follow-up, and emphasizes the selected firms.
  • Preparation and following up on requests for quotations, analyze received quotations, and negotiate to secure the best possible deal with specialist subcontractors or suppliers.
  • Conducting a comprehensive review of the tender by analyzing the tender documents, managing discrepancies, and coordinating with relevant departments and team members.
  • Identify potential areas for value engineering by analyzing the tender document.
  • Preparation of design and build proposals that incorporate cost-effective design concepts aligned with the employer’s requirements.
  • Resolution of contradictions and ambiguities arise throughout the tender review, quantification process and the subcontractors or suppliers RFIs.
  • Manage tender addenda to ensure their incorporation into the tender pricing.
  • Analyze the project configuration and collaborate with the construction team to identify the staff deployment, logistic and authorities’ requirements.
  • Ensure accurate pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources by collaborating with the procurement department, adhering to the RFQ process, and fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Creating estimate file in CCS Software incorporating bid profiling, analyzing and addressing deficiencies in the Engineer-provided BOQ, and implementing necessary BOQ adjustments.
  • Preparation the Tender Submittal in accordance with the Tender Requirements.
  • Undertaking the post-tender process to ensure thorough issue resolution, maintain document integrity, and support bid winning efforts.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or civil Engineering.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Has a good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent research, English proposal writing and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills and demonstrable competency with CCS Candy
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required in a UAE-based main contracting company.
